Guided Hike
THROUGH THE WEST PRONG TRAIL
West Prong is one of our favorite picnic hikes in the National Park. This hike capitulates through lush forest and has a soft relaxing quality with intermittent elevation to contend with. It terminates at campsite 18 which is guarded by a river and mature pine forest. It’s a beautiful place to find a spot to refuel with snacks, drinks and that sandwich you have been craving. Enjoy the cool air and sounds rendered by the running stream that separates the campsite from the pine forest. Should you decide you can venture another 5 minutes to the junction base of Bote Mountain before heading back. Call (865) 206-4056 for more information.

This 5 mile round trip hike should be considered Moderate. Prior to participating you should know that you are healthy. You should know that preexisting conditions could be a factor. You should be physically fit enough to accomplish this 5 mile hike with elevation.
