Guided Hike
THROUGH THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL AND BEYOND
This hike begins on the Appalachian trail on the state line splitting Tennessee and North Carolina. After meandering for just over a mile hikers will leave the "A.T." for the Boulevard Trail. This quiet forest hike is peaceful, amazing and sure to please. In just under another mile you break off on the Boulevard and start your trek up to the pinnacle of Kephart Mountain. About 30 yards from the end of the hike you will notice a huge mountain range off to your left. You are looking at Mount LeConte. Continue hiking and in less than a hundred feet there are drop offs on both sides and you have reached the peak! Both sides render stunning mountain views sure to be remembered. This just under 7 mile round trip hike should be considered strenuous. Prior to participating you should know that you are healthy. You should know that preexisting conditions will be a factor. You should be physically fit enough to accomplish this 7 mile hike with elevation.



The cost for this hike is $185 for two hikers or $78 each for 3 or more hikers. There is a limit of 10 people per group. Good boots/hiking shoes, socks, water and snacks are a must. Good trekking poles are strongly suggested on this trail! Hikers will meet at GSM Outfitters at 7:00 am.

We will ask you to sign waivers and settle up and you will meet your guide.
