THROUGH THE CURRY MOUNTAIN TRAIL
Curry Mountain Trail is a great fall, winter, early spring hike. It is perfect for people that want to discover a place in the woods much less traveled. The hike is a great place to see fall colors, winter views and spring wildflowers. Often times you can do this hike and have the feeling of being the only person on a mountain. This hike is the polar opposite of a Laure Falls or Abrams Falls in that you truly understand the peacefulness rendered by solitude on a mountain. The first mile of this hike is the hardest. Once it is behind you it becomes much easier.
This just under 6.5 mile round trip hike should be considered strenuous. Prior to participating you should know that you are healthy. You should know that preexisting conditions will be a factor. You should be physically fit enough to accomplish this 7 mile hike with elevation.
The cost for this hike is $165 for two hikers or $65 each for 3 or more hikers. There is a limit of 10 people per group. Good boots/hiking shoes, socks, water and snacks are a must. Good trekking poles are strongly suggested on this trail! Hikers will meet at GSM Outfitters at 7:00 am. We will ask you to sign waivers and settle up and you will meet your guide.
